The Bangor House is a facility located in downtown Bangor that houses seniors and those with disabilities. We have the privilege of holding services there every Sunday at 1:00 PM. We have two faithful families who alternate Sundays. The Rice family and the Wagner family minister in song and the word of God. Many of these dear folks cannot make it out to church so we bring church to them. The Bangor House has a nice chapel all set up for services and is a nice place to hold meetings for the folks there. Others from our church have also helped out with the music and any other way they can. There is a faithful group of residents that come out every Sunday. Also many from the facility have visited and many have professed faith in Christ! It is a joy for our church to have a part in the lives of these dear saints that live there and desire to hear the word of God preached.
"In the Fall of 2006, a few tenants of the Bangor House approached Bible Baptist Church seeking someone to conduct services, primarily for shut-ins. I jumped at the opportunity to help. From 1-2pm. each Sunday, my family switches off with the Wagner family to serve these sweet, faithful folks. On average, 8-15 attend. We sing, pray, preach, and fellowship. Souls have been saved, lives changed, and saints comforted during troubled times. The Lord has also used this ministry to mightily bless and grow me and my family in the faith. We thank God for the privilege to participate in this exciting and rewarding outreach."

"Our family, along with the Rice family, has been ministering at the Bangor House since the Fall of 2006. Services are held in a small chapel called the English Room and our families take turns every week, with other members of our church filling in once in a while. We have a small core of faithful believers who attend regularly and seeing the effort some of them have to make just to get to services has been a special blessing and encouragement to our family. We sing the old hymns, our children provide special music for the services, we lift up one another's burdens in prayer and we preach from the King James Bible. We've seen God work in the lives of many of the folks who attend. We are thankful to have a part in this ministry."
