In 1987 Lily and I had the privilege to begin in the ministry with just a handful of believers right here in Bangor, nestled in the central Maine area. Our church rejoices in what God has done over the years, and how He has grown His work.
We believe that a church family is a great blessing to be a part of and to enjoy, and we believe that Bible Baptist Church can be that church family for you. Our church can offer a family atmosphere of love and encouragement. It's a place where you can grow in God's word. We believe that the promises of God are true and faithful and can help any and all who believe them. Our church is anchored upon the unchanging truths of the Bible.
We are a growing church with a vision for the grace of God to work in lives. We preach an unchanging gospel that still changes lives today!
It is our sincere desire to honor and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. It is also our desire to minister to you and help meet your spiritual needs. Our church's ministry verse is found in II Corinthians 4:5, "For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake." We hope to meet you soon!
