At Bible Baptist Church we believe in reaching out to our community. We know that there are many needs in people's lives today, and we know the Bible has the answers for those needs. Whether you are already a Christian and desiring a place to grow in God's word and fellowship with other believers, or whether you are not a Christian but have questions about the Christian faith, we invite you to come and find out more. Our church can minister to the whole family or any individual. We have chosen II Corinthians 4:5 as our ministry verse. It says:
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord;
and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake."
and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake."

Visiting for the first time and want to know what to expect? Below are some common questions and answers for you. Q. What do you have available for my children? A. We have something for the whole family at Bible Baptist Church. Please visit our Ministries page to learn more about our children’s ministries. On Sunday mornings we have programs for all children through age 11. We also have programs for the Teens and Jr. Church children (ages 6-11) on alternating Thursday evenings. Nursery is available during all services. Q. What should I wear? A. We are a friendly and welcoming church and want you to feel comfortable visiting. We encourage you to come out and experience our services and not let a question of attire keep you away. You are welcome to wear anything that you feel is appropriate for church, keeping in mind that we are there to worship God. We place our emphasis on God’s word and growing in it. Q. Is an offering taken or any expectation for a gift to be given? A. We do not take an offering during our services or pass an offering plate. We have ways for our members to give to the ministry, but we want you to visit and be our guest. We will never put any pressure on anyone to give. Q. If I visit, will someone follow up with me? A. If you wish to have someone follow-up with you and you have additional questions, we will gladly contact you. Unless you request a follow-up, we will not reach out to you after your visit. You will find we are laid back and do not wish to pressure anyone. We want you to feel welcome and comfortable and desire for our main focus to be on God and his word. Q. What version of the Bible do you use? A. We use the King James Version of the Bible and believe it to be the perfect, inspired, infallible word of God. We have Bibles available for all those who attend and do not have one of their own. If you currently use another Bible version, we do not want that to keep you from visiting. Please come worship with us and see what we are all about! Q. What can I expect during a church service? A. Our services start out with a time of hymn singing and often have special music provided by a group in the church. You will find our music to be traditional and Christ honoring. The most important part of the service is a Bible message which is preached from the KJV. You can expect that a Sunday morning service that starts at 10:00 AM will typically wrap up by about 11:30. Q. Is anything expected of me as a visitor? A. No! We want you to come and simply enjoy our services. We are friendly and welcoming, and want you to feel comfortable. You will not be called upon or singled out in any way. |
